You really have to control the attention of the person looking at your page.

With one of my clients right now we are doing a free giveaway promotion. We sent a Facebook post. Then we started getting several people commenting. I remember one particular comment saying: Please send me the giveaway.

My first reaction was have you not read the Facebook post and link in it?

But then I decided to switch this around and ask myself, was the image and the text of the post clear enough? Well, it seemed clear enough when I composed/created it. But looking at it in more details, it may have not been.

Make you message clear. Make the key goal of your communication very clear.

If not you’ll have a bunch of people missing out on it!
